Growing up in Burlington, VT, with a loving and supporting family, I was comfortable and familiar with my surroundings. I loved the idea of travel, and even spent a summer abroad in high school, but my priorities were always skewed toward something else. College. Career. Building a family of my own. It wasn’t until the passing of my father – a brilliant, entrepreneurial man who spent his life traveling – that I realized my true calling. Over the course of his life, he had visited Italy more than 30 times, and I had never gone with him. With two daughters of my own, I knew right then how important sharing a love and passion for travel could be. Materials fade, but memories of travel are forever. That’s when inspiration struck, and so Rising Tide Travel came to be.
I design experiences that are authentic, intimate, immersive, and novel. You want the best plate of pasta e fagioli in Italy? We’ll find it. You want access to a private African reserve? We’ll get it. I provide exceptional travel experiences that are unique to every client and that provide total comfort along the way.
